2000: BC - Thu, 8/31/00

Hayley was WAAY out of line going over to Ryan's to rip into Greenlee! If Greenlee didn't show up for work, so what? It's not like Greenlee showed up at work drunk. If she doesn't call in or continues to slack off as far as her job goes, fire her, put her on probation, whatever. If Greenlee got drunk at SOS, maybe SOS should reconsider selling alcohol, especially considering that no one checks IDs and there are teenagers and even little kids in there all the time. Hayley's going so far out of her way to lecture Greenlee about the perils of alcohol was not only uncalled for, it TOTALLY invaded Greenlee's privacy by having her employer and co-owner of the bar she was in during non-working hours TRACK HER DOWN to tell her she was a bad girl. She IS a bad girl, but it's none of Hayley's business. Considering Greenlee was holding an axe and had clearly been trashing Ryan's place with it, Hayley should have taken the hint and vamoosed.

Jack had made a comment on Wednesday that he knows what it's like (to have to deal first hand with a child being removed from the home) because he had to have his adopted daughter taken out of an abusive household. When was this? Lily has been at the school ever since Jack has known her. Maybe when she was little the situation was bad with Denny and Laurel, but that was well before Jack's involvement.

Leo can't believe Becca is breaking up with him. He mentions all the loving times in the last couple of weeks, time at the lake, the 3-hour phone calls, the way they were together on the dance floor. You mean the part where you were throwing her over your shoulder? She walks away but can't resist getting one last dig in: "You don't know what you're missing!" How many of you chimed in: "Neither do YOU, Becca, neither do YOU!"
